Club/Team
Membership is open to the public, and we welcome you to join,
although the classes are focused
on the needs of collegiate dancers.
In order to join the team:
Please fill out
the membership form, and hold harmless agreement, and submit that to one of the team captains along with your dues, payable
to "Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Club".
Dues are $85 per semester, for all members. That allows you to attend any of the 4 different class levels. Practices
for the beginner ("pre-bronze") class are typically Monday and Wednesday nights from 9-10pm, with occasional special
events and practices on Thursday or Sunday evenings.
Come early before your class to pay dues, because there will be a line, and you may otherwise miss part of the lesson.
You may join at any time during the semester, because we start a new
dance every week, repeating late in the semester. However, we do not offer discounts for classes that you may have missed though, so don't delay!
Come see what we're all about first hand. Your first lesson is free.
Try attending a class. If you have never danced before, attend the Pre-Bronze class. If you have
some experience, come talk to us about where you belong.

To ensure you get credit for payment, please bring the appropriate form along with your dues
Why this is a good value: Our classes are taught by high ranking
competitive couples, who are trained by Professional US Dance Champion coaches, so you know your time will be well spent.
Out in the "real world", ballroom is an expensive sport. A group class costs about $15 per hour, and a 45 minute
private lesson at least $90. Alumni of the team often stay in West Lafayette to enjoy the opportunity to learn dancing.
Our team uses a time tested approach that will give you the skills and confidence to dance.
